Inkwell

A small Markdown reader for the Mac

Inkwell opens any Markdown file and shows it rendered. I built it for reading what chat assistants write, fixing a word or two, and pasting the result into Slack, Mail, or Word with the formatting intact.

Inkwell showing a Markdown plan for an invoicing cutover: a heading, a checklist, a table of owners and hours, and a quote.

Clicking never reveals the markup. You edit the text you see.
Copy pastes formatted into Slack, Mail, and Word.
New from Clipboard opens whatever you just copied.
Exports PDF, Word, and HTML, and prints whole documents cleanly.

Inkwell isn’t notarized by Apple, so the first time you open it, right-click the app, choose Open, then click Open again.
